Dr. Marty Blane is the owner of DFP and a life-long Stewart Countian.

He is a Valedictorian-graduate of Stewart County High School and completed his undergraduate work at Vanderbilt University in Nashville and Murray State University in Murray, Ky. Marty earned his Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Tennessee College of Pharmacy in Memphis and his Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Tennessee College of Law in Knoxville.

Dr. Blane is past-president and former board of directors' member for the Stewart County Chamber of Commerce as well as having previously served on the Foster Care Review Board for Stewart County. He is an active member of:

• American Pharmacist Association
• National Community Pharmacy Association
• American Society of Consultant Pharmacists
• Association of Diabetes Care and Education Specialists
• American Diabetes Association
• Tennessee Bar Association.

Marty has served on the Medical Advisory Committee for the Tennessee Bureau of Workers Compensation and the Stewart County Health Council. Dr. Blane is the Adjunct Professor of Pharmacy Law and a clinical preceptor for Union University College of Pharmacy in Jackson. He also serves as a pharmacy preceptor for Lipscomb University College of Pharmacy and Belmont University College of Pharmacy.

Marty is Chair of the Tennessee Controlled Substance Monitoring Database Committee and the Robertson-Montgomery-Stewart Regional Solid Waste Committee.

In 2022, Governor Bill Lee appointed Dr. Blane to a six-year term on the Tennessee Board of Pharmacy. Marty strives “to always be available to help improve the quality of life of all Stewart Countians.”
